Private sector to construct Hamedan’s 3rd petchem complex

HAMEDAN, Sept. 2 (MNA) – Ganjnameh, the third petrochemical complex of Hamedan, will be constructed by the private sector, Hamedan Governor General Behruz Moradi said here on Tuesday.

“Ganjnameh is projected to produce 5,000 tons of methanol annually,” he added.

 

“The petrochemical complex will be constructed in cooperation with Germany’s Yorgi petrochemical company. The Iranian private sector will provide $1.5 billion of funding for the complex’s construction plan and the German company will provide the full production technology,” Moradi explained.

 

The Hamedan governor general expressed hope that the Ganjnameh petrochemical complex’s first phase would come on stream in four months.
